Ingredients:
- Reserve Tomahawk Steak
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Garlic cloves (optional)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- Pat the steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the steak on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 120°F (49°C) for medium-rare (about 45–60 minutes depending on thickness).
- Remove and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking.
- Sear the steak for 1–2 minutes per side, adding garlic and herbs for aroma.
- Rest again for 5 minutes before slicing.
